ACCREDITATION PROCEDURE

We thank you for your interest in covering the Internazionali BNL d’Italia, May 12 - 20, 2012 at the Foro Italico in Rome. The deadline for completing this application is April 19th 2012

Passwords and user name for access to this web-site will be the same as 2011.

If this is your first time, click on Registration and fill out the special on-line form. Once the registration procedure has been completed you will be submit the documentation requested.

Each time after that when you click on Access you will be asked only to insert your log-in data: first name, last name and password.

Once you have accessed the system you will be able to choose the events you wish to cover, submit documentation (photos and credentials) and, if necessary, modify your personal data.

Each type of media may request press credentials according to the following criteria:

• Daily newspapers (+ 100.000 issues): 2 media credentials;
• Daily newspapers (- 100.000 issues): 1 media credential;
• Sport daily newspapers: 3 media credentials and 1 photographer;
• Magazines: 1 media credential;
• Tennis magazines: 2 media credentials and 1 photographer;
• National and International Press Agencies: 2 media credentials;
• International Photo Agencies: 2 photographers;
• Photo Agencies: 1 photographer;
• Web Sites: 1 media credential;

Each Media may request up to a maximum of 2 desks in the Media work room. The final decision will be at the discretion of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia Press Office;

Journalists from daily newspapers and web sites will be withdrawn of their credentials if there are no articles published during the event with their signature.

Access to Press Tribunes and Photographers Areas will have the following criteria:

• To be allowed to Centre Court & SuperTennis Arena Press Tribunes it will needed a permission on the badge.
• The Internazionali BNL d’Italia Press Office will designate, at its sole discretion, photographers that will be permanently allowed to the photo pit in the Centre Court. Also, two other photographers only will be allowed, at rotation, to the photo pit in the Centre Court.

MEDIA CREDENTIALS CRITERIA

The Internazionali BNL d’Italia’s Board will make the final decision on all credential applications based on what has been published during the previous years. Failure to send the required documentation, when requested, will automatically deny the press credentials.

WEB SITES

The Internazionali BNL d’Italia’s board will make the final decision on all web sites credential applications. Accredited web sites cannot shoot videos and/or audio recordings without a Press Office written authorization. The penalty will be the withdrawal of the credential.

TV & RADIO

Only TV channels and Radios that have purchased the rights of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia 2011 may have press credentials. Only ENG cameras with a specific sticker will be allowed into the event site.

PARKING PASS

Press credential doesn’t automatically entitle to a parking pass.

CRITERIA AND PROCEDURES FOR EDITORIAL STAFF

1. Procedures for access to this web-site will be the same as 2011.

2. Both letter of assignment (with contact information) on original letterhead from the assigning editor or producer and copy of the journalist membership card are required.

3. Internazionali BNL d’Italia will not accept requests for media credentials by those who do not have a journalist membership card and original letterhead from the assigning editor or producer.

All provided data will be treated in compliance with the laws on privacy.
